I tok this photo of the Elephant River vallei on the Slagthoek hiking trail near Middelburg in Mpumalanga South Africa. The views are breathtaking. These are the most impressive river meanders I have ever seen.

I love taking photographs. It is a passion of mine. Though not a professional photographer, I like to always try and improve on my photographic skills.
Why do I love photography? Mmm...maybe it is because it gives me the ability to share magnificent sights and situations I come across in life and on nature trips with other people. Maybe it is because it gives me the power to freeze a small bit of history and take it with me into the future to remember the past.
